If you want to get up close with nature, this is going to be the place for you. There is a variety of activities you can do in the reserve. In fact, you can catch them by line or by net.
Among the other things you can do is follow a hiking trail. That’s right, if you don’t want to get wet, you can still go on a little adventure. When you get tired, there are picnic tables and you can even have a barbecue.

Sometimes you just want to take a dip on a white beach. While most beaches in Brisbane are packed, the Coochiemudlo island is different. It is one of the hidden islands in the area mainly because it is small. Despite the limitations, it is mostly up to the taste of a lot of people and you might find yourself being satisfied as well.
There are three sandy beaches to choose from. Since it is less known, you are not going to see a hint of garbage around the area. So, you are greeted with clear water and a thriving marine ecosystem. You can also bring along with you a bike to pedal through the small island until you can find a location that you like.

Parks are great spaces to unwind and breathe some fresh air, but they can get a little jam packed. Fortunately, there is one exciting park within the city of Brisbane. Sitting on top of a hill, the Teneriffe park is a lesser-known location. Most would be even baffled to know that it even exists.
Other than the usual park amenities like playgrounds and swings, it has a great view of the Brisbane CBD. There is also enough space to run around and take a hike if you want to appreciate everything that a mountaintop has to offer.

When you want to take a sip of coffee or have a meal, you might want to check this place out. It is an outdoor café and what makes it great is the ambience that it delivers. There is a gift shop and playground for additional things you can see and do.
The café is open from 8 o’clock in the morning until 4 pm and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So, regardless of what time you decide to visit and unwind with nature, there is something you can munch on.
